...Like mother, like daughter. That's beautiful.<br />I was a late-bloomer, I guess you'd say. Hated to read when I was a kid. Don't recall anyone reading to me. So I became a teacher. Yeah, weird. And my students taught me reading was fun. They also inspired me to try writing, so I did, for children's magazines at first. Now, I'm addicted. :)Beverly Stowe McClurehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02176195451841801819noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6086062096420008519.post-10395513270701381302016-08-24T11:18:02.808-04:002016-08-24T11:18:02.808-04:00I love it! I was eight when I realized I want to write books: I was visiting our school library and decided to start reading Harry Potter and Philosopher's stone for the first time. After reading only the first chapter I came to think that if I ever could write a story as great as the one I was reading, I would be the happiest person in the world. I still remember the situation like it was yesterday. And here I am now, 16 years later, searching for the right story to tell first. That began my love of books. The writing began when I was knocked down by a car and spent a few months in hospital. It gave me a different viewpoint on life and plenty of time to think up stories. From that point on, I decided all I ever wanted to be when I grew up was a writer.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05933073564209801215noreply@blogger.com
