Monday Mishmash

Happy Monday! Here's my mishmash of thoughts:

  1. Easter  We had a great weekend dying eggs, visiting with family, having eggs hunts, and seeing the Easter Bunny at the roller rink. Hope you enjoyed the holiday as well.
  2. Stalked by Death  Book 2 in the Touch of Death trilogy releases August 13, and Barnes and Noble has it up for pre-order for only $6.59! Also, my SWAG is arriving tomorrow, and I can't wait!
  3. The Monster Within  My April 2014 release through Spencer Hill Press is one of my favorites. I just finished copy edits on it, and I'm waiting to see my cover. Yay!
  4. Face of Death  I'll be editing the 3rd and final book in the Touch of Death series this week. I'm excited but a little sad, too.
  5. Free Monthly Newsletter  It's the first Monday in April, which means my newsletter will go out at 5pm (EST) this evening. If you aren't already signed up to receive it, you can do so here.
That's it for me. What's on your mind today?

  2. I'm glad you had a wonderful Easter, and congrats on getting book 2 up for pre-orders at B&N! I'm surprised you have line-edits and a cover for a book that isn't coming out for a year. I didn't know they planned that far in advance.
Have a great week, Kelly! :-)

    1. Yeah, this one is ahead of schedule. We still have a lot to go through though—proofreading, galleys proofs, and ARC proofs. It's a lot of editing. :)

We've been in the country for the holiday, and it's quite peaceful and beautiful here. I have to go back to the city later to teach tomorrow. Wish I had another week up here!

  8. You have so much good news going on ~ congrats!
My girls had some Easter fun too, although we were at a condo, so our egg hunting was more limited that usual. They were just glad the Bunny found us at our new location. :)

  10. Congrats on all the wonderful literary things on your calendar. I am happy that few people in my circles play April Fools' jokes, and proud of myself for getting a few long-postponed chores done over the last weekend.

  12. Happy Easter! I colored eggs, too, but I did the wax lettering first. I texted all over my eggs, LOL, STFU, LMAO, WTF, and a big ole smiley =)

My kids are grown, so I think I was acting out. Anyway, there will be egg salad sandwiches at my house for the rest of the week!

  13. Oh how I miss the decorating and hiding of eggs. Do you think it would be weird for me at 56 to do it for myself? Or maybe my dogs would enjoy it! LOL

Can't wait to see what your book Monsters Within is all about. It sure has me intrigued!

  24. I have never read a YA novel except Twilight. But your book cover makes me want to take a peek at the story, to see if it is going to be as beautiful as the cover. Maybe I will and if I do will drop back here again. All the best.
