Monday Mishmash 1/30/17

Happy Monday! Monday Mishmash is a weekly meme dedicated to sharing what's on your mind. Feel free to grab the button and post your own Mishmash.

Here's what's on my mind today:
  1. Lies We Tell Cover Reveal  I can't believe the cover reveal for Lies We Tell is next week already! I'm so excited to share it with you all. It's not too late to sign up to help me reveal the cover, so if you're interested, click here.
  2. Newsletter Sign-ups  I have decided to keep all my giveaways exclusive to my newsletter and street team. If you aren't subscribed to my newsletter, but would like to get in on these giveaway opportunities as well as get sneak peaks of my books before anyone else, you can sign up here. I only send out newsletters when I have something good to share, so you won't be bombarded with emails from me.
  3. Kelly's Coven  My street team or reader group (whichever you prefer to call it) is open to new members. I do reward members of this group more than anyone else. Member always get free e-ARCs of ALL my books, too. So if you'd like to chat with me in my FB group, you can request to join here.
  4. Monroe County Book Expo  Sign-ups are open for the Monroe County Book Expo. If you are an author and you live in or near Monroe County, PA, feel free to contact me and I'll send you the registration form so you can be there to sign as well.
  5. Editing  Is there a week when I'm not editing? ;)
That's it for me. What's on your mind today?

    1. I schedule some free time in the summer since my daughter is home. I'll be trying to fast draft at that time.

  4. You always ask your readers what's on their mind, and for once I will tell. I'm struggling to come up with a tittle to a MG that has already had a revolving door of suggested titles considered... You have very strong titles. I wonder how you do it.

    1. Oh wow! I think I'm terrible with titles. LOL They usually take me forever to think of. On rare occasions, a title will come to me before I start writing, but more often than not, my flashdrive is full of titles like "new idea," "thriller," "suspense," etc. One suggestion I have is finding a phrase you really like in your book, one that applies to the overall tone or story and play off of that. I'll plan to talk about titles soon on a Writer Wednesday.
