Monday Mishmash 11/26/12

Happy Monday! Here's my mishmash of thoughts:
  1. Touch of Death on Kindle  Touch of Death is now available for pre-order on Kindle. Yay! Find it here. And yes, that is a blurb from Jennifer Armentrout on my cover. So thankful to her for blurbing my book!
  2. The cold that won't go away!  I feel like I've been sick forever. I just want to be healthy again.
  3. Shawnee Gallery  The Shawnee Gallery is reopening under new management and they will be carrying copies of all my picture books. :)
  4. Love for Touch of Death  This review is so good I admit I cried when I read it. Thank you to Kayleigh-Marie Gore. <3 font="font" you="you">
  5. Cyber Monday  I admit I prefer Cyber Monday to Black Friday. I'm hoping to find some good deals today.
That's it for me. What's on your mind today?

  1. Hi kelly! Oh dear, hope the cold goes away soon - there is nothing worse than feeling rubbish and not getting better! Curse you winter colds.

I might need to indulge in some cyber Monday deals ... cannot face crowds this time of year!

    Have a good week!

  2. Take care of yourself, Kelly. I wish I could mail you some chicken soup (Homemade of course!) If you can, drink lots of juice, and get rest throughout the day, perhaps in between Cyber Monday web surfing.

  3. I got a lot of deals online on Friday. Goodluck with yours today!

  4. I hope you feel better! I should do some online Christmas shopping too, since I'm off school today. But what's really on my mind are a lot of unanswered questions that are screwing up my plot outlines for the next couple books in my series. If I can't answer them, I can't move forward. Arrrgh.

  9. Keep feeling better. I might see if I can find a deal or two today. My babysitter is sick, so that makes getting anything done a bit harder.

  11. Hope you feel better. I've never done Cyber Monday but I'd be more interested in that than Black Friday. Congrats on your review!

  13. I'm coming down with a nasty cold and stomach flu...starting yesterday, so grrrr. Feel better too. Blurb by Jennifer is wonderful. I'm hoping to score PS3 for my son, but I know next to nothing about gaming systems.

  14. Sorry about the lingering cold! Very happy about the book, though. Congratulations.

  15. I hope you get to feeling better, Kelly. I felt like I had a sinus infection over the last couple days, turns out it's my tooth!

  16. Congratulations on Touch of Death for pre-orders. Colds never do seem to go away these days.

  17. I have a cold too. It turns out that having mono makes you get colds REALLY easily :\ but hopefully it goes away soon for the both of us!

I worked on Black Friday for nine hours...so I prefer Cyber Monday too :P

  18. I have been having lots of sinus problems for the past week and I feel like I am on the brink of it all getting worse. I am trying to keep the cold away! I hope you are feeling better. I am busy with report cards this week! Hope you found/find some good deals.

    1. I hope you don't get sick, Stephanie. Good luck with those report cards. My daughter got her very first report card last week. So exciting. :)

  19. On my mind today is a novella I am started working on. Oh, and having to drop my daughter off at the airpot. That is never any fun. I am sorry to hear you have the cold with claws of steel. You need a good steam in a sauna. Maybe that will rid you of the nasty germs.

    1. Brenda, I'm feeling a lot better today. Good luck with your novella and dropping off your daughter. I know you never like giving her back. I've had my daughter home for a week and as long as this snow doesn't close school, she's going back today, too.

  20. Hope you're feeling better soon, and definitely well for Christmas.

This week is rather chaotic - I'm split between my children's social life, school events and attempting to kick my husband, *cough, persuade my husband to finish reading my novel (draft 2) so I can start on draft 3. I'm still working on my NaNoWriMo novel but dreadfully behind in wordage. I suppose it's going to be this chaotic until Boxing Day.

    Have a great week.

  21. Sorry about that never-ending cold, Kelly. As long as you're sure it isn't allergies... I swear by chicken soup. It cures nothing, but it's GOOD :)

  23. I had it earlier in the fall where I seemed to have a cold that just wouldn't go away, no matter how much I tried to get rid of it.
