Snugg Kindle Fire Case Review and Giveaway

Okay, so this is a little different for me. I was asked to review a Kindle case, and since I own a Kindle and my blog followers are mostly avid readers and writers, I said yes. I'm always happy to pass along a great product.

So, here's the Snugg Kindle Fire cover, which you can find on their website as well as at online retailers.

Snugg Kindle Fire case
First, the case is attractive and has a nice feel to it. It securely holds your Kindle, which is also a big plus. It also offers three ways to hold your Kindle while you read. One perk I noticed right away is that it opens like a book. My Kindle cover actually opens the opposite way (to the right) and it's a bit annoying, but The Snugg case opens to the left like a book. As you can see from the picture above, there are two different positions if you prefer to read or use your Kindle in a horizontal position. One is more upright and the other is slated for better lap viewing.

The back of the case has holes for the audio, which is a nice feature since many cases don't allow for that. So the sound quality is not affected by the case. The case is also leather and very lightweight so it's ideal for travel.

Overall, it's a great case and you can't beat the price.

I've decided to give the cover away to one lucky winner. This will be for US residents only. Just leave a comment below to enter and I'll use a random number generator to pick a winner. The winner will be announced next Friday. Good luck!

  6. I love my new Kindle Fire...I got it as a birthday present (because I wouldn't spend that much on myself). I would love to have this case for it. Thanks for this opportunity!

  7. I have a case already, but this looks nice and secure. It's also good that you can stand it up, like the iPad case.

  8. Interestingly, they don't sell Kindles in Egypt, probably because Amazon doesn't allow downloads to any country in Africa (not even free books). By trying to cut down on piracy in Africa, they've eliminated a large chunk of prospective customers. Good luck to the entrants for the case.

  10. That's a nice case. I already have one for my Kindle but I like that this one has different standing positions. Mine only has one and the position can be annoying sometimes.

As I'm not a Yankee, I'm out. Good luck to whoever gets it!

    1. Sorry, William. I don't know why it can't be cheap to mail from the US to Canada, but (funny story) my postal worker told me it's expensive to send things overseas. LOL I wanted to hand her a map. ;)

  15. Good review -- reminds me of the iPad covers our students use at my school. No entry for me, I'm afraid; Gizmo (my Kindle) is an old keyboard model from '09, and he already has a cover. Even so, he enjoys streaking from time to time...

    1. LOL It's great that your Kindle is holding up for so long. My first one didn't make it two years.

  16. Fun to read about something like this. I often wonder about cases since they are all so different. I think having one that opens like a book would be the best!

    Great review. :)

    1. I really did like that about this case. It seems like such a small thing, but it really makes a difference when you hold it.

  17. Hi - My daughter has a kindle fire and this would be perfect for her. I actually accidentally stepped on MY kindle and broke it. That is the last time I leave it on the floor next to the bed.... :( i ordered a replacement but it is not the kindle fire.
