Monday Mishmash 12/19/16

Happy Monday! Monday Mishmash is a weekly meme dedicated to sharing what's on your mind. Feel free to grab the button and post your own Mishmash.

Here's what's on my mind today:
  1. Sunday is Christmas! It's Practically Here!  Can you tell I'm a fan of the Grinch? I love the original cartoon movie. I'm all ready for Sunday.
  2. Editing  I'll be doing a client edit this week before the holidays.
  3. Publishing  Since Fading Into the Shadows is ready to go for it's January 16, 2017 release, I'm busy getting my April release ready. The digital proof of Lies We Tell has been proofed, and the paperback proof has been ordered!
  4. Taxes  It's getting to be that time again where I need to update my expense and earning logs for taxes. Ick!
  5. Snow  I'm done with snow and winter hasn't even officially begun yet. :(
That's it for me. What's on your mind today?

  3. You are a busy woman! I'm in the same boat you are with taxes. I have a LOT of things in my spreadsheet that I have to get the pricing on. Plus, receipts to gather...if I'm ever audited, though, I'll be printing off a TON of Amazon and emailed receipts!!!

    1. I tend to write down my expenses and then transfer them to Excel later on. Same with my earnings. I need to transfer the last quarter now.

    1. Yeah, it's pretty to look at, but I don't want to interact with it in any way.

  5. Oh, I love the snow, but that's just me. We're getting plenty of it- but considering how dry a summer we had, a snowy winter would be very welcome.

    1. Okay, you can take all my snow then. For the entire winter! Deal?

  6. Taxes, sigh. Every year I say I'm going to be organized. Okay, maybe next year. I'll be going on a treasure hunt soon to find all of the receipts and whatever. What a way to start the new year. :)

    1. LOL If I'd just cut out the documenting by hand part and do it right on the computer from the start, I'd be set.

  7. Tax time...*leaves*. Anyway all the best with editing, publishing dates and that snow that doesn't bother me in the tropics. Merry Christmas Kelly and have a great time over the holidays and all year round. :)
