Happy Monday!

I'm recovering from drafting a book in three days last week, and I'm also preparing two books for publication at the beginning of February, while also revising another book. Needless to say, I'm not making a video this morning.

I hope you have a fantastic week. And if you're interested, here are the two books coming out next month if you'd like to preorder them.

Psychologist Dr. Sydney Warner has no problem helping other people with their issues, but when it comes to her own relationships, she doesn’t have the best track record.

Even so, she never would have expected to show up to her Valentine’s Day date and find the guy she’s finally meeting in person after being paired on a dating app has been murdered. Worse, she’s the prime suspect.

Detective Andrew Lange is determined to pin this on Sydney, but his estranged younger brother, Nolan, returns to town and is equally determined to use his reporter knowhow to help Sydney prove her innocence.

When a local judge is shot to death right outside Cup of Jo, Joanna Coffee can’t avoid getting involved in the case. Especially since the judge was still holding the doppio he’d bought from Jo.

But finding anyone in Bennett Falls who didn’t hate Judge Masters isn’t easy. The town is filled with unhappy people who fell on the wrong side of Masters’s judgements.

Even doppios might not be strong enough to fuel Jo through this investigation. Will this be the case that proves too difficult for the amateur sleuth? Will Jo have to admit that coffee might not be the answer to everything?

Americanos and Assault:

  1. Your Valentine Victim (yet another evocative title, on many levels) reminds me of a series called THE UNDOING, based on a book called I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN. It's a great premise and so true.
