Monday Mishmash 2/12/18

Here's what's on my mind today:

1. Editing  I'm editing for a client this week. This is a book I previously edited for content. Now I'm doing line edits, and I love seeing how the book really came together.
2. Formatting  I've been doing a lot of formatting recently. I have another book to format for a new client this week. If you'd like to see my formatting services, you can find them here.
3. Drafting  I'm at the 20K mark in my WIP. I set out for it to be a novella, but it looks like it's going to turn out to be a full-length novel. These characters have more story to tell. :)
4. Tormented Souls Hit #1 in a category  My book in the Runes Kindle World hit #1 in the Kindle Worlds: Teen & Young Adult category. Thanks to everyone who helped make that happen. You can find Tormented Souls here.
   
5. New logo in the works  I hired a designer to create a new logo for me. I'm really excited with how it's coming along. I can't wait to be able to show you.

Here's what's on my mind today:

1. Tormented Souls  The Runes Universe Kindle World releases tomorrow. I'm very excited for everyone to read Tormented Souls. 
   
2. Since I Found You  The final book in the Love Chronicles companion series also releases tomorrow. So whether you're a Kelly or Ashelyn fan, I have a new book for you. :) 
3. Editing  I'm editing for a client this week.
4. Inkslinger Reader Group Takeover  I'll be partying in the Inkslinger Reader FB Group Tuesday night at 6:40 p.m. Come chat with me and enter to win some free books. If you aren't part of the group, you can request to join here.
5. Drafting  I'm drafting a Thanksgiving romance at the moment. Well, actually, I'm plotting/drafting. I know how the book will begin, and my plotting turned into drafting scenes. If only I could figure out the plot for the rest of the book. ;)

Here's what's on my mind today:

1. Editing  I'm editing for a client this week.
2. Formatting  I'm currently formatting two books for a new client.
3. Plotting  My daughter has basketball twice this week, so I'll be using that time to plot a new book. I recently learned a new plotting technique, and I'm excited to try it out.
4. More snow?  I'm so done with snow. I see plenty more of it in the forecast, though. :(
5. Upcoming releases  I'm getting ready for two upcoming releases, both on February 6th. The Love Chronicles trilogy will conclude with Since I Found You, and my book Tormented Souls will release as part of the Runes Kindle World. I'm excited about both.

   Releases February 6, 2018

2. Writing Conference  I attended the Pocono Writer's Conference on Saturday. I always enjoy this conference.
3. Revising  I'm revising my psychic mystery before I send it off to my editor. I'm excited for this book because it combines supernatural and mystery, two of my favorite things.
4. Editing  I'm editing for a client this week.
5. Drafting  As soon as I finish revising my psychic mystery, I'll be diving into the draft of book two.

Monday Mishmash 1/15/18

Here's what's on my mind today:

1. I'm a USA Today Bestseller!  Back in October, I became a USA Today bestselling author as Ashelyn, and that was awesome. But...I wanted that title as Kelly as well. Last Wednesday, I got it. :) Since the rank was under 50, this was posted in the print edition as well as the online version.
   
2. Proofreading  I'm currently proofreading the paperback proof of Unseen Evil and Evil Unleashed. I don't think I could love these books more. I'm so excited for everyone to read them this April and May.
3. Editing  I recently got a new editing client, so I've been working with him to polish his picture book and query letter.
4. Drafting  I'm drafting an Ashelyn novella scheduled to release this summer.
5. Runes Kindle World  I'm part of the Runes Kindle World releasing February 6th, and we're having a cover reveal tomorrow. Join me here at 2:00 p.m. EST to see the cover of my book Tormented Souls.
