Monday Mishmash 3/18/19

Here's what's on my mind today:

1. Editing  As usual, I'm working on client edits this week.
2. Revising  Last week, I managed to revise book 4 in the Piper Ashwell Psychic P.I. series. This week, I'm hoping to tackle revisions on book 5.
3. Tennis elbow  I got tennis elbow from working on my computer too much.  After researching, I have adjusted my chair height, which I suspect was the culprit. I also got a wrap made specifically for tennis elbow, and I'm wearing that while I work. So far, that's helping the pain.
4. Author copies  I got author copies of all three Madison Kramer Mystery books and Read Between the Crimes. Yay! I love getting a big box of books! 
   
5. Plotting  I'm hoping to plot book 6 in the Piper Ashwell Psychic P.I. series this week.

Monday Mishmash 3/11/19

Here's what's on my mind today:

1. Editing  My editing schedule is crazy booked this year. I have no gaps in my schedule, and it actually overlaps in a few places since I tend to finish edits quicker than the allotted time. I'm finishing up an edit today.
2. Plotting/Drafting  Because my editing schedule is so full, I have to draft whenever I possibly can. I just finished drafting book 6 in the Piper Ashwell Psychic P.I. series last week, and I'll be starting book 7 probably later today because I will have some time this week before my next edit comes.
3. Blogger commenting issue  I recently discovered if I turn on my comment moderation, the captcha goes away. Yay! I hate captcha. Even though I had it set so it didn't go on, it still was. It was very annoying. So now I have to moderate every comment, but it's better than having that annoying captcha pop up.
4. Thank you!  Big thanks to everyone who grabbed the Madison Kramer Mystery books during release week last week. If you haven't grabbed them yet, you can find them all here.
5. Summer Snoops Unleashed is a bestseller on Barnes and Noble!  I woke up yesterday to find out the charity boxed set I'm in is a bestseller on B&N! How incredible is that? Here's what's on my mind today:

1. My daughter's birthday  Tomorrow is my daughter's twelfth birthday. I'm not sure how she's twelve already. I'm so proud of her. She's an amazing kid.
2. Drafting  I'm finishing up the draft of book 5 in the Piper Ashwell Psychic P.I. series today!!!! Yay!
3. Revising  Once this draft is complete, I'll do a final revision on book 4 in the Piper Ashwell series before sending the book to my editor.
4. Editing  I'm taking full advantage of the few days I have off between edits to get my own work done. I'll have a new edit coming soon, though.
5. Special preorder price  Don't forget that the price of the Madison Kramer Mystery books will be going up after release week, which is fast approaching. So if you're interested in reading these, you might want to preorder them now.

6. Captcha nightmare  I don't have my blog set to require captcha verification to post comments, yet it's still doing it! I emailed Blogger to ask about it, but I have yet to get a response. Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?

3. Madison Kramer Mysteries are on sale through release week  Right now, all three books in the Madison Kramer Mystery Trilogy are on sale. 4. Drafting  I'm slowly making my way through the first draft of book five in the Piper Ashwell Psychic P.I. series. I'm going slow because I have so many client edits to finish, which means I can only write for a couple hours a day at the moment.
5. Editing  I'm editing for a client this week.
6. Blogger issues continue  I've deleted my Google+ account, which should have fixed my inability to comment on my own blog, but alas, I continue to struggle. I don't know what else to do at this point. Blogger said Google+ was causing the issue, so shouldn't this be fixed now?

Here's what's on my mind today:

1. Drafting  I'm working on drafting book five in the Piper Ashwell Psychic P.I. series. With a book coming out every two and a half months, I have to stay ahead of these releases and constantly be working on the next book.
2. Giveaways  Since I've been doing monthly giveaways, I created a page on my website where you can find my current giveaway: https://www.kellyhashway.com/giveaway  The one that's running now is for a signed paperback ARC of Manuscripts and Murder.
3. Editing  I finished up a big edit and have another one coming my way in a few days.
4. Pinterest  I now have a Pinterest page for my cozy mysteries! If you'd like to follow me, you can find it here.
5. Blogger issues  I'm really confused by this, but apparently Google+ is the cause of the issues with Blogger. Isn't Blogger run by Google? I've tried everything, but I can't seem to fix the commenting issue I'm having despite doing what Blogger instructed me to do. I'm contemplating switching blog hosts, but with all I have going on right now, I'm not sure I want to devote the time to moving to Wordpress, which I loathe.

Here's what's on my mind today:

1. Madison Kramer Mysteries covers!  The new covers are done! I love them so much, too! I'm planning to wait to share them once I have the books all set for preorder. Stay tuned!
2. Editing  I'm editing for a client again this week. My 2019 editing schedule is almost full already! That's insane.
3. Piper Ashwell Psychic P.I. book 3  Yesterday I got the paperback proof for book three in the Piper Ashwell Psychic P.I. series! I'll show it to you soon. I just need to proofread it and get it ready to go up for preorder by the time book two releases next month.
4. Reading  I've been reading a lot lately, and I've started to review the cozy mysteries I read over on my Cozy Mystery author FB page. Make sure you follow me there to catch my book recommendations.
5. Fun Fact Friday Also on my Cozy Mystery author FB page, I'm starting a feature I call Fun Fact Friday. I did my first one last Friday, and shared where my titles for the Piper Ashwell Psychic P.I. series come from and how to find them in each book. See my first video here.
6. Still struggling to comment on blogs  Whether or not I can comment apparently depends on the day. It's frustrating, but since I don't want to download Chrome and Blogger hates Safari, I guess I'm stuck with this situation.

Here's what's on my mind today:

1. Editing  The end of this month is packed with client edits.
2. Cover design  I'm hoping to get the cover for my Piper novella this week. My cover designer will also be working on the new covers for my series redo, which will become the Madison Kramer Mysteries.
3. Blogger issues  I still can't comment on my blog or anyone else's with my Google profile. I think it's a browser issue because I only have Safari. I can sometimes comment using the name/url option, but it doesn't always give me that option. *sigh*
4. Reworking my publishing schedule  I have a lot of cozy mysteries coming out this year. I still have a paranormal novel drafted and with a cover already. I'm just not sure where to fit it in my schedule since my cozy mysteries series are taking up all my time.
5. Drafting by hand  As I mentioned previously, I'm drafting an Ashelyn novella by hand while my daughter is at basketball practice. So far it's going well.

2. Madison Kramer Mysteries As I mentioned last week, I'm reworking the Lies We Tell Trilogy. The books are now unpublished and being reworked as the Madison Kramer Mysteries. I'll announce the book titles soon. I really love the titles!
3. Piper Ashwell-Madison Kramer crossover I'm plotting a Piper Ashwell-Madison Kramer crossover novella. Since Madison is an author and Piper's office is next to a bookstore... See where I'm going with this? I'm excited!
4. Editing I have a new edit coming to me very soon. I better get drafting in the meantime.
5. Cover design Have I mentioned I love working with my cozy mystery cover designer? She takes my ideas and makes them ten times better (possibly more than ten times better). I'm getting things ready for the new Madison Kramer Mysteries covers.
