Now, Donna didn't have the rules posted, so I Googled them. I have to give 7 random facts about myself. Eek, you guys are going to know my life story soon!
- I was usually two years younger than my classmates in school because I started at 4 years old.
- I've cried while writing my own novels. (I've also laughed out loud while revising.)
- I'd rather eat cookie batter than cookies.
- I've been known to laugh out loud while alone in the bathroom. Something about that room makes me think about weird things. :P
- I hate alarm clocks so I sleep with my running watch on.
- While growing up, I went to the Caribbean quite a bit. (Bahamas, St. Thomas, Aruba, St. Croix, St. John--each twice, with the exception of Aruba) Thank you, Mom and Dad!
- I read while watching TV because I don't like commercials.
And now the people I'm passing this award on to:
Your turn. Either share one random fact about yourself or recommend one blog that should get this award so we can all check it out.
I hate commercials too. I did peg you for a multitasked! How can you not be? Congrats on the award. You are lovely!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you, Jodi. Yes, I love to multitask. :) I like to busy.
DeleteGuess I'm "Old School" for my age on this subject. I like to do one, at most two things at a time, or I'm a clumsy basket case, and being an emotional basket case with a short fuse on patience, is more than enough baggage for me to deal with already, thank you very much.
DeleteThere's nothing wrong with liking to tackle one thing at a time. A lot of people are like that.
DeleteMmm...doughies.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kelly!
Dough is so good!
DeleteYou're very welcome, Emily. :)
Oh Kelly, You know what they say about pay back lol! No really, Thank you so much for giving me One Lovely Blog Award :) Now I just have to try to think of something interesting to say about myself lol! <3
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. And I think you are very interesting so this shouldn't be too difficult for you. :D
DeleteBack when we had TV I would read while watching and it drove the hubs crazy! :)
ReplyDeleteCookie batter rocks!! What kind do you prefer?
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your award!
Funfetti, hands down! It's awesome.
DeleteI personally like cookies better baked.
DeleteBut I will admit to liking cheesecake filling, but only homemade (I made a homemade cheesecake yesterday, had to wait until it was chilled before I could eat it), and only a lick or two. I still prefer the fully baked version, I find no-bake cheesecake on average a bit off putting.
I love cheesecake but rarely eat it. I could really go for a slice right about now.
DeleteCongrats on your award and I will check out the new links above. Thanks Mon!(Remember in the Caribbean?)
ReplyDeleteYes, I do remember. :) I love the Caribbean.
DeleteCookie batter does taste better then the finished product!
ReplyDeleteYes, it does. :)
DeleteCongratulations. You deserve it!
ReplyDeleteThanks, JoDee!
DeleteAwe, thank you Kelly! I grabbed it and picked 7 more. :)
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. Looking forward to checking it out.
DeleteAhh, I love these facts about you. You sound quirky, just as a writer should be to develop all those plots that come to us.
ReplyDeleteQuirky is a good word for me. My motto is "If you're not weird, you're boring." I don't want to be boring. ;)
DeleteI love cookie dough. I usually have to stop myself or I'll pig out. Congrats on the award!
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to stop eating it. That happens when I finish making the cookies. :)
DeleteCongrats, folks! Hoep everyone has a great holiday weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks. You too, Catherine!
DeleteCongrats on the award! I have more good news for you. I added a Top Commentators widget to my blog and you are number 7, so when people click on your name, it takes them to your site! I hope you get some extra clicks by being a faithful Everyday Underwear follower :0)
ReplyDeleteVery cool. Thanks so much!
DeleteOh what a pretty award!!! Congratulations and thank you for sharing bits about you.
ReplyDeleteI used to read during the ad breaks... But now I don't watch tv.
Thank you for the award! If I can think of 7 things to post... I'll post ithem on my blog...
Xx
You're welcome. It is a pretty award--well, I guess we should call it lovely.
DeleteYou are tooooooo sweet!
ReplyDeleteOne random fact: Today is my birthday. Woot!
Happy birthday to you!
DeleteCool. I can relate to number 2 and 3. I've been known to laugh out loud in public when I'm by myself.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you admitted to that. I can't help myself. I think of funny things in weird places and I burst out laughing.
DeleteI also read while watching TV. I read while doing most things. I promise not to read while driving, but with anything else, all bets are off.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'd never attempt reading while driving. I have seen people do it, and it's scary.
DeleteYou have led a very interesting life.
ReplyDeleteI can't complain. :)
DeleteCongrats on the award.
ReplyDeleteI sometimes laugh out loud when I'm alone, anywhere. I think about things that happened recently that are funny and can't help myself.
I sometimes read and write while the TV is on for background sound (I can't have it quiet all the time).
Yes, I like background noise while I read. When I write, I prefer quiet though I can deal with background noise if necessary.
DeleteWhat fun! I enjoyed finding out some more facts about you. I also love cookie dough way more than baked cookies. I also don't like commercials and read during them! Glad to know I am not alone. I look forward to checking out the pages you nominated. :)
ReplyDelete~Jess
Sounds like we have a lot in common. :)
DeleteYay for cookie dough and reading through commercials!!! Love all the tidbit facts, Kelly!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm glad you enjoyed them.
DeleteHello Kelly! My first visit, will visit you again. Seriously, I thoroughly enjoyed your posts. Congrats for your work. If you wish to follow back that would be great I'm at http://nelsonsouzza.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
Happy Easter my dear friend!
Thanks, Nelson! Happy Easter to you, too.
DeleteI also read during commercials, and often right through the show! :D
ReplyDeleteOh, yes. I get caught up in reading and forget I'm watching a show all the time. :)
DeleteOne random thing about myself?
ReplyDeleteYou said "I've cried while writing my own novels. (I've also laughed out loud while revising.)" I laugh when people find my life story sad, I really do, as I imagine their face if they knew the full story!!!
I think sometimes it's hard to contemplate what others endure in their lives. What one person has the strength to overcome would make another person crumble. Life is funny like that.
DeleteI think you're right, pretty soon we're going to know all of your secrets. I always feel so terrible about passing on awards. Thus, I never do for fear people will become annoyed with me. On another note, I can't think of anyone nice or more deserving than you.
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you, Brenda!
