2. Madison Kramer Mysteries As I mentioned last week, I'm reworking the Lies We Tell Trilogy. The books are now unpublished and being reworked as the Madison Kramer Mysteries. I'll announce the book titles soon. I really love the titles!
3. Piper Ashwell-Madison Kramer crossover I'm plotting a Piper Ashwell-Madison Kramer crossover novella. Since Madison is an author and Piper's office is next to a bookstore... See where I'm going with this? I'm excited!
4. Editing I have a new edit coming to me very soon. I better get drafting in the meantime.
5. Cover design Have I mentioned I love working with my cozy mystery cover designer? She takes my ideas and makes them ten times better (possibly more than ten times better). I'm getting things ready for the new Madison Kramer Mysteries covers.

1. I can't comment on blogs  I'm not sure what's going on, but for two weeks now, I haven't been able to comment on any blogs, including my own. I'm not ignoring you guys. Blogger just seems to hate me for some reason.

3. Redoing my Lies We Tell trilogy  The other day I realized my Lies We Tell trilogy is not suspense. It's cozy mystery! How didn't I realize it sooner? So, I'm redoing the series with new titles, new covers, and some changes to the stories themselves. I'm hoping to relaunch in March if all goes well.
4. Editing  I'm booked solid for the entire month.
5. Plotting In my spare time—wait, do I have any?—I'll be plotting an Ashelyn Drake novella.

1. Drafting  I'm finishing up the first draft of book four in the Piper Ashwell Psychic P.I. series this week.
2. Ashelyn Drake Giveaway  I'll be setting up a giveaway this week for a signed paperback ARC of The Time for Us. Watch my Ashelyn Drake Facebook page for that.
3. Wrapping gifts  I wrapped most the Christmas gifts I bought already, but I have a few left to wrap so I'm ready for next week.
4. A Vision A Day Keeps the Killer Away  My book will be removed from the Death and Damages boxed set this Tuesday. Once I have my rights reversion in my hands, I'll be putting the book up for sale myself.
5. Read Between the Crimes Giveaway I'm going to be hosting a giveaway for a signed paperback ARC of book two in the Piper Ashwell Psychic P.I. series soon too. Watch my Cozy Mystery page for info.

2. Death and Damages is down  Due to an Amazon glitch, the Death and Damages boxed set has been down for a week now. If you read my prequel, A Sight For Psychic Eyes, and are looking for the next book, let me know. It's up in paperback, but right now you can only get the ebook from me. I'm sorry for the inconvenience Amazon is causing in this.
3. Cover Design for Drastic Crimes Call for Drastic Insights  The third book (4th if you count the prequel) in the Piper Ashwell Psychic P.I. series is getting a cover this week! Yay! I'm so excited to see it.
4. Drafting  I'm working on book four in the Piper Ashwell series. I really love these characters.
5. Plotting  I rarely work on two books at once, but my editing schedule is packed starting January 1st, so I have to do what I have to do. That means plotting my next Ashelyn Drake book while writing a Kelly Hashway book. Sometimes I feel like I'm two completely different people.

3. New cover and title  While I was proofreading the paperback ARC of Better With You, my upcoming Ashelyn Drake contemporary romance, I realized the title and cover didn't fit the story quite right. Now I love the cover, so I will use it for another book, but I have retitled and had a new cover designed for this book. Check out The Time for Us designed by Fionn Jameson at Milk Tee Designs.
   
4. Happy December and my birthday week  I have mixed feelings about the month of December. I love Christmas, but my birthday is a different story. This birthday is a big one for me, and I'm not really happy about it.
5. Revising  I have to dive into a revision on a paranormal that's been sitting on my flash drive waiting for me to get back to it. I have the cover already, and wow, is it gorgeous!

1. Death and Damages releases Tuesday!  Guys, I hate to beg, but if you like mystery/thrillers, please consider grabbing this set in the next few days while it's still $.99 for 24 books. The price is going up very soon. Also, some authors in this set are looking to hit the USA Today bestseller list. I know how much that meant to me, and I want their dream of hitting the list to happen for them as well. Please consider helping them out, by purchasing your copy here. 
   
2. Better With You Now that all my client edits for November are off my plate, I WILL get the final proofread of Better With You completed this week. I'm also going to reveal the cover via Facebook live on my Ashelyn Drake FB page, so look for that.

4. Christmas shopping  For the second year in a row, I ventured out on Black Friday. I did not go out early, though. I still have plenty of shopping to do and plan to tackle more today.
5. Soul to Reap  My former Runes World novella Tormented Souls had to be rewritten after Kindle Worlds closed. I've finished the rewrite, which made the story longer, and I've gotten a new title and new cover. Look for a December release for Soul to Reap. And for now, check out the new cover by Milk Tee Designs.

1. Editing  I'm editing for clients again this week.
2. Decorated for Christmas  My daughter and I have both been under the weather, so my husband finally caved and let us decorate for Christmas even though it's not even Thanksgiving yet. :) Luckily, we're both feeling better now as well.
3. Thanksgiving  I hope you all have a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
4. Conferences  I have my daughter's parent/teacher conference this week. I'm looking forward to meeting all of her teachers.
5. Proofreading  I'm still working on proofing the paperback ARC of Better With You, my Ashelyn Drake romance releasing in early 2019.

For some reason, the filters got all messed up and put me in really weird things, which was appropriate since it was Halloween. If you want a good laugh, watch it here.

Here's what's on my mind today:

1. New Cozy Mystery Logo  I have a new author logo for my cozy mysteries! I love it so much. Red Umbrella Graphic Designs did a fantastic job with it. Check it out. 
   
2. Editing  I finished a client edit this weekend, and I'm diving into a new one today.
3. Facebook Lives  I did my first Facebook Live video last week, and I laughed so hard at myself. I couldn't figure out how to turn the video off. Somehow I didn't see the "finish" button at the bottom. I also rolled my eyes at myself on video. Needless to say, I'll be doing more videos because I love to laugh at myself. ;) If you want to see the video, you can view it on my page here.
4. Piper Ashwell Psychic P.I. Short  I wrote a short prequel to the Piper Ashwell Psychic P.I. series. This is what happens when I gain hours in the workweek. ;) Anyway, A Sight for Psychic Eyes is being edited and will be ready soon! I'll share more details when I have them.
5. Yes, I'm still writing paranormal  Since I'm launching my cozy mystery brand, I want to address a question that some people have asked me: Will I still write paranormal and romance? The answer to both is yes. Ashelyn Drake isn't going anywhere. She will forever be a romance author. And I will continue to write paranormal because I love it. In fact, my cozy mystery series features a psychic, so technically... If you like subtle hints of paranormal, you might want to give my cozy series a try. If not, that's okay too!

1. Editing  I'm editing for a new client this week.
2. Cozy Mystery Giveaway  I'm banding together with some other cozy mystery authors to host a giveaway for Wedding Cake Crumble by Jenn McKinlay. You can enter here. 
   
3. Water issues  This has been the summer of water issues. I'm hoping to have them all finally fixed this week. Fingers crossed.
4. Publishing schedule  I was going to release my Love Chronicles boxed set at the beginning of this month, but life has been crazy. I might have it ready by the end of the month, but I'm not going to stress to get it out. I'm slowly learning not to kill myself for the sake of getting books published by certain dates.
5. Three weeks left in my summer schedule  My daughter starts school in three weeks, so I'm still on summer hours until then, but this school year, my working hours will increase since the school day is going from six hours to eight!

Here's what's on my mind today:

1. Home again  I'm back home after having to flee to Delaware due to a broken pipe. Unfortunately, our bad luck didn't stop at the pipe. Our water heater went as well, and we still have one more water issue to deal with.

3. Revising  Being that I was away all last week, I didn't get to revise my upcoming Ashelyn Drake book. I'll be doing that this week instead.
4. Paperback proof  I got my paper back proof of book two in the Piper Ashwell Psychic P.I. series, and it's sooooo pretty. I still need to do a final proofread on it, but I probably won't get to that until next week.
5. Color Street  I'm hosting a Color Street FB party this week. If you are unfamiliar with Color Street, it's nail polish strips that go on in seconds without any heat at all, and they last for about two week. My last manicure was on for 16 days! If you'd like to check them out and get free samples, let me know.

Here's what's on my mind today:

1. Fled to Delaware  Thanks to a broken pipe under my house, my daughter and I have fled to my parents' house in Delaware. My husband and dog are holding down the fort at home. I think I got the better deal. 
   
2. Draft Completed!  I finished drafting the third book in my psychic mystery series. I'm so happy to have book three written because I want to release the first three books in quick succession and book one is out in November.
3. Revising  I need to do some final revisions before I get one of my Ashelyn Drake books off to my editor. I'm hoping to dive into it this week, but I'll be away until Friday, so we'll see.
4. Reading  I started reading a new cozy mystery. I really love how easy they are to read while still being entertaining.
5. Proof  I got the paperback proof for the second book in my psychic mystery series. It's absolutely gorgeous. I can't wait to share the cover with everyone. But in the meantime, I need to proofread this book.

Here's what's on my mind today:

1. Drafting  Writing is going well this summer, but since I have limited hours to work with my daughter home, it's going slowly still. I'm hoping to finish my draft this week.
2. Color Street  I recently discovered a product called Color Street, and I'm in love with it. It's nail art that's not a wrap, so there's no damage to your nails. It's polish that goes on in a strip. No drying time! I'm hosting a Color Street FB party on July 23rd. If you'd like to be part of it and try some free samples, let me know.

3. Formatting  I'm formatting a book for a client this week.
4. Incredibles 2  My daughter and I went to see Incredibles 2 last Friday. It was really good! I definitely recommend it.
5. Cover Design  Last week I saw the perfect cover for a book I wasn't planning to release until next year. I had to buy it because it's exactly what I was looking for. So now I will be releasing an extra Ashelyn Drake title this year.

2. Returning to a WIP  I had to put my WIP aside for a while to work on other things, but I'm diving back in to revise what I already have written and then finish the manuscript.
3. Editing  I have a client edit arriving in a few days.
4. Running  I've taken up running again, thanks to my daughter who has become my new running partner.

Here's what's on my mind today:

1. Editing  I'm editing for a client this week. All of my clients have been submitting their books early, which I love because I can get an early jump on them since I usually allow more time than I need for each edit.
2. Proofreading  I'm doing a final proofread of the paperback proof for Since I Found You, the final book in the Love Chronicles companion series. It's currently available for preorder. 
   
3. Christmas  It's one week away! The presents are all wrapped and ready.
4. Reflecting on 2017  This was a crazy year for me as far as publishing goes. I released nine books. I think. It was so crazy I lost count. 2018 will have quite a few releases as well, but after February, I'll be handling releases a little differently, so stay tuned for more info on that.
5. Newsletter  Those of you who subscribe to my newsletter may have noticed it came from a different email address. I started using the address tied to my website. It's still me though, so don't be afraid to open it. If you aren't signed up and would like to receive my newsletters, you can do so here.

Here's what's on my mind today:

1. Editing  I'm editing for a client this week.
2. Drafting  Last week I was able to finish up a draft I had to put aside for client edits. One more draft left to go in this, series and then I can figure out where to put it in my publishing schedule (either late 2018 or early 2019 so I have plenty of time for editing).
3. Winter?  It's been so cold here it feels like winter instead of fall. We've had snow flurries twice, too. I'm not a winter person at all, so I'm not loving this.
