- MacBook Pro I treated myself to a new laptop, and I LOVE it!
- Playlist I'm creating a playlist for Touch of Death and my other books in the works. So much fun!
That's it for me. What's on your mind today?
You deserved that new Macbook Pro!! Congrats! ;D
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sheri! Deserve it or not, it's amazing. :D
DeleteCongrats on the book deal. I didn't see that earlier.
DeleteThanks, Beth!
DeletePuppies. Sleep. Rain. Mowing. Bills.
ReplyDeleteYep, I think that pretty well covers what's on my mind this morning so far.
Oh, will this rain never end? I've had enough now.
DeleteGlad you got a new laptop . . . and a Mac too! Nice! Can't wait to see what all your hard work on that computer does! Hope your Monday is great.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cynthia! I hope you have a great Monday, too.
DeleteI just saw about your 4-book deal, congratulations!! That is so exciting and deserved - just as much as you deserved that new laptop :-) I'm very happy for you, and I'm looking forward to reading A Touch of Death!
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks, Ashley! I appreciate that.
DeleteI missed the news about your deal - major congrats! And yay on the Mac. Welcome to the club. Love them. I'm still recovering from building our deck this weekend, and my daughter has the day off school. Just hoping I can get a few things done.
ReplyDeleteStacy, this is my second Mac. I may or may not have dropped my MacBook. It still works, but the bottom is falling off. Oops! I'm being much more careful with my MacBook Pro. I love it and have designated a work area so I'm not moving it too much. Less risk of dropping it that way.
DeleteCongrats on the new deck!
Wow, a playlist for your books! Never thought of that. That does sound like fun.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm having a blast with it.
DeleteI love my Mac and all of Apple's products. Congrats on your new one!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Karen. I'm definitely a Mac girl. :)
DeleteA new laptop! :D
ReplyDeleteGreat having new devices. I just bought my iPad3 not long ago and I love it, too. But I had to buy a wireless keyboard to use with it because I like to type fast and the touch screen I'm just not getting used to.
Congrats on your 4-book deal! Keep writing.
Thanks, Diane. Yeah, I think the touch screen would be too slow for me too.
DeleteLet me stagger in here to offer belated congratulations on you book deal. *blinks* Lotta stuff happened while I was consumed with A-Zness.
ReplyDeleteWhile I had a novella started, and a new novel I've been excited about starting, I got gobsmacked with an idea for yet ANOTHER novel this weekend, wrote the prologue and a prelim outline. Crazy fun times.
Ooh, lots of ideas is a very good thing!
DeleteYeah for new computers. This week my parents are coming to visit so I am trying to cram writing in between loads of laundry and mopping flors.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the four book deal at Month9. That's awesome and you deserve it!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteWeek is looking ^up^!
ReplyDeleteAh, the wonderful Mac Book Pro! You'll love it. I have one, and an Air that I treated myself to more recently. I use the Air to carry to my writing space and on trips, and the Pro at home, loaded with heavier duty software like Photoshop. Let's hear it for Macs! You're so fast with your writing! Already drafting again, wow.
ReplyDeleteI love to be drafting. I try so hard to always get back to it.
DeleteI DID see that announcement, and I wanted to run over and wish you a big, super congrats! Here's hoping all the best for you w/Georgia! Best~ :o) <3
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, LTM!
DeleteI think I congratulated you just about everywhere except here, Kelly. So congrats on going with M9Bs. Congrats on the new laptop. I love mine, so I'm sure you'll find yours wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThanks again, Lee. You're awesome! I do love my new laptop already. :)
DeleteHow does it feeling working on the sequel on that brand new Macbook Pro? It's heaven no? Lol (yeah--I'm a mac lover!)
ReplyDeleteYes, it's heaven, Elizabeth. :) The keys light up so I can write late a night, which is awesome. I might be losing sleep, though. It's hard to stop writing when the laptop is giving me every reason to keep going. ;)
Delete4 book deal?? How did I miss this?? CONGRATS!! That's so awesome!!
ReplyDeleteAnd YAY on the new Macbook Pro! Aren't new toys fun? :)
Thanks, Tabitha! It just happened at the end of last week, so no worries.
DeleteOh, new toys are so much fun. I want to write all the time. Loving the new Macbook Pro.
Oooo let me know what you think of the MAC. I am considering buying one myself.
ReplyDeleteI didn't hear about your new book deal. WOW. Congrats. So so happy for you.
ctny
Definitely get the MAC. I've been a Mac girl for a few years now. The MacBook Pro is amazing! I'm totally in love with it.
DeleteThanks so much!
I love my mac book pro, too! i like the idea of putting music with the book, great new ways to intrigue interest! You are doing it great!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jodi!
DeleteI love my mac book pro! Good for you! You are always rolling along!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the book and laptop!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Deb!
DeleteYou won't go back (to a PC). I bought myself MacBook Air last fall and am smitten. I needed something really light to take back and forth with me on the train and when I travel, so the mac suited me perfectly. Enough geek speak. I know the feeling about being back in the grove. While I don't' subscribe to writer's block I do believe we get in the way of our writing. That was me last week. I was so glad when Friday rolled around and my fingers were dancing on the key board again.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe in writer's block either. I think if we get out butts in the chair, we will write. At least that's how it is for me.
DeleteI've been a Mac girl for a few years now. I may have dropped my MacBook. It still works but the bottom is literally falling out and if I put it back, the computer doesn't work. Strange, right? Anyway, I love my new MacBook Pro and am keeping it stationary in my new writing spot so I don't drop it. ;)
How exciting to get a new laptop! It always feels so nice to have new technology. I am sure it will be fun to work on your new WIP on your new laptop! Happy writing!
ReplyDeleteIt definitely is fun, Stephanie. :)
DeleteOnto a WIP already, you are a writing machine Kelly!
ReplyDeleteIs it a hard switch going from a PC to a Mac? I've been considering switching to a Mac myself, I've heard nothing but great things about them!
LOL. This is my fourth book this year. Crazy, right? I don't know what's gotten into me.
DeleteI switched from a PC to a Mac 4 years ago and I'll never go back. I may have dropped my previous Mac, which still works but the bottom is falling off so I have to keep it stationary. Oops! So, I decided to upgrade to the MacBook Pro, and I love it. Macs are so much easier to use than PCs. At least I think so.
Drafting is an exciting stage (even when I get stuck at times).
ReplyDeleteI'll check out your newsletter.
Thanks, Medeia!
DeleteYeah, I'm having a blast drafting again. I love this stage.
Looking forward to following your career...thanks for coming to True STORIES!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jessica. I look forward to getting to know you.
DeleteIf I didn't say it, congratulations on your 4 book deal.
ReplyDeleteI hope you love your new Macpro. You'll have to keep us informed on how it's working out for you.
It's nice when you get that burst of inspiration. congrats on that.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
