Monday Mishmash 12/31/12

Happy Monday! Here's what's on my mind:
  1. New Year's  I hope everyone has a great New Year's. Stay safe, and may 2013 bring you much happiness and success.
  2. After Christmas sales  I'm going shopping today to hit up all the after holiday sales.
  3. The Monster Within  I'm diving back into edits on The Monster Within, which will release April 2014 through Spencer Hill Press.
  4. Novellas  It's official. I love writing novellas. I'm working on another one and it's a YA contemporary romance. I'm very excited about it.
  5. Editing clients  I love my editing clients. They kept me really busy in December, but I had a blast reading their manuscripts. I hope they keep them coming.
That's it for me. What's on your mind today?

  1. We did our after Christmas shopping on the 26th. It wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be.

Stay busy and Happy New Year!! :)

    1. Not as many after-holiday deals as I would've hoped for. Luckily I didn't have any returns because those lines were crazy. I hope you didn't have to wait too long.

  6. Happy New Year to you, Kelly. We're enjoying our oldest son's visit. He lives in SC so we don't see him often.

  9. Looking forward to a new year, definitely. Looking forward to putting up my new 'Dream Guys' calendar my boyfriend bought me for Christmas (I'm a simple girl, who's easy to keep happy :)) and need to get a new pair of boots on SALE. Good luck on your continued editing of your manuscript. Your book sounds interesting.

    1. There were really good boot sales today! I got new ones for my birthday so I didn't get any but I was tempted. ;)

    1. I have to say the post-Christmas sales were sort of a letdown this year. Last year was a lot better.

      Happy New Year!

  11. I love writing shorts and plan to start a novella soon. I can focus easier on the edits after the story is done - since I unlike you don't love to edit! Have a wonderful new year!!!! Good luck fighting crowds, although I agree with an earlier comment. It didn't see nearly as busy this year as it as in the past.

    1. Happy New Year to you, too, Michelle! No, the crowds were nowhere near as bad as I was expecting. But that might be because the sales weren't as good this year. I was disappointed. Good luck with your novella.
