- Good News! Face of Death, the third and final installment in the Touch of Death trilogy is under contract with Spencer Hill Press. The deal was announced in Publisher's Marketplace last week: "Kelly Hashway's FACE OF DEATH, the final book in the Touch of Death trilogy, to Trisha Woolridge at Spencer Hill Press, in a nice deal, by Lauren Hammond at ADA Management Group."
- Being sick is awful: My daughter and I have been sick for a long time now, and I'm so done with it all.
- Working at my daughter's school: I'll be helping out at my daughter's school Wednesday and Thursday with Valentine's Day sales and group photos. I love getting to see her with all her friends.
- Sweets Blogfest: To celebrate the release of our sweet love stories, my friend Beth Fred and I are hosting The Sweets Blogfest on March 6! And we'd love it if you'd participate. You can sign up in the linky below.
Here are the rules:

That's it for me. What's on your mind today?
Gosh, Kelly!! I can't wait to see the reveal of Book III!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sheri!
DeleteI also got a cold last week, Kelly. I'm just getting better.
ReplyDeleteAfter a long hiatus, I hope to resume my blogging this week, and hope you'll stop by soon.
Glad you're feeling better, Taurean!
DeleteI can feel your pain with being sick. Same here with my daughter and myself. Why did my husband get skipped? I have no idea.
ReplyDeleteI've never done a blogfest or a bloghop - it's still very foreign to me. SO is the main purpose to promote the books listed in the blogfest and possibly grow your own readers at the same time? If that is the concept then I will figure out how to help be apart of it.
Yup, you got it, Michelle. I'd love it if you joined in. :)
DeleteI hope you and your daughter feel better soon!
I'll give myself a pat on the back for trying it. I now know what the heck I SHOULD fill in. Oh well. Promoting anything sweet just can't be a bad thing.
DeleteThanks, Michelle. Just click the blue "Click to enter here" above and you'll be added to the list. Thanks again!
DeleteI show up in gray? Did I do it wrong?
DeleteI'm not seeing you at all. Let me try from my end.
DeleteHope you both are doing better. Sinus infections hit my house the last two weekend. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your new deal! I am so happy for you!
We are doing much better. Thanks, Karen. Why is everyone getting so sick this year? It's crazy.
DeleteBig sigh of relief on nailing down the book 3 contract. Not that I doubted, but sometimes you never know. I'm sure you're relieved it's finalized.
ReplyDeleteBoth of my daughters caught the crud on Friday and it hit me hard yesterday. We are having lots of pajama days here. :)
Pajama days over here, too! LOL My daughter has a snow day due to ice this morning, so we got one extra day off to recover. Feeling so much better though. I hope you and your daughters are on the mend.
DeleteAnd thanks. Yes, big relief! :)
Hope you and your daughter are feeing better, Kelly.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Faith. We are. Still more tired than usual, but other than that, we're good.
DeleteAlways fun stuff going on here! :D
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you guys are feeling better, Kelly. Have fun at the valentine's event at school.
Thanks, Diane!
DeleteCongrats on the new deal! Glad you and your daughter are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Auden!
DeleteCongratulations on your new contract. How exciting.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're feeling better and able to help with your daughter at school.
Looking forward to the blog hop.
Thanks, Beverly!
DeleteCongrats on the deal for Face of Death! How exciting! Sorry to hear that you and your daughter have been so sick. I hope you are on the mend. Have fun at her school. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jess!
Delete"In a nice deal..." - isn't that just beautiful? Congratulations for another marvelous Monday!
ReplyDeleteAnd how you do this while being sick, with a sick child? I wish you both a complete and *speedy* recovery.
Thanks, Mirka. We are doing much better now. I have a little secret. With the exception of Monday Mishmash, I write my posts ahead of time. That way when I get sick like this, I'm still covered. :)
DeleteCongratulation on the 'Face of Death' news but sorry you're both not well.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Fi. Getting better every day. :)
Delete:( Aww, hope you guys are feeling better soon. It seems like round two of colds are going around right now.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm a little jealous that you get to volunteer for Valentines! I remember Valentines being so much fun in elementary school (probably because of the vast amounts of sugar involved, lol).
LOL. It's always fun to see my daughter at school, and she's excited for her Valentine's Day party.
DeleteUgh. My family is coming down with the stomach 'flu. I am sequestered in my room, praying I don't succumb! LOL
ReplyDeleteI hope you don't get sick, Kat!
DeleteCongrats, Kelly. I read it myself and was tickled pink for you. This is you year, woman. And it's only the start. I am glad you are on the mend. School mom jobs can be fun - most of the time.
ReplyDeleteHugs, and so very happy for you. Hard work does pay off. Enjoy!
Thanks, Brenda. Now I just have to hope people read my books. LOL
DeleteCongrats on the book deal! Woot Woot!
ReplyDeleteI've been sick for almost a week now. Argh I just want to sleep laying down flat again. I'm sick of my stuffy nose and the head pressure. Hope you and your daughter get feeling better soon. :)
We are, Julia. I hope you get better soon. I feel for you.
DeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteI hope you're feeling better.
Thanks, Medeia, and I am. :)
DeleteSorry you've been ill for a long time. I understand that. Viruses are just mean this year. Hope you had fun at your daughter's school.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Donna. :)
DeleteI can relate to being ill. I've had an off and on cold since October....
ReplyDeleteOctober? Wow! I hope you get better soon!
