- Easter We had a great weekend dying eggs, visiting with family, having eggs hunts, and seeing the Easter Bunny at the roller rink. Hope you enjoyed the holiday as well.
- Stalked by Death Book 2 in the Touch of Death trilogy releases August 13, and Barnes and Noble has it up for pre-order for only $6.59! Also, my SWAG is arriving tomorrow, and I can't wait!
- The Monster Within My April 2014 release through Spencer Hill Press is one of my favorites. I just finished copy edits on it, and I'm waiting to see my cover. Yay!
- Face of Death I'll be editing the 3rd and final book in the Touch of Death series this week. I'm excited but a little sad, too.
- Free Monthly Newsletter It's the first Monday in April, which means my newsletter will go out at 5pm (EST) this evening. If you aren't already signed up to receive it, you can do so here.
That's it for me. What's on your mind today?
Yay! Happy release day for Stalked By Death!
ReplyDeleteJust saw it on B&N!
It's not actually my release day. It's just up for pre-order. But thanks. :)
DeleteI'm glad you had a wonderful Easter, and congrats on getting book 2 up for pre-orders at B&N! I'm surprised you have line-edits and a cover for a book that isn't coming out for a year. I didn't know they planned that far in advance.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week, Kelly! :-)
Yeah, this one is ahead of schedule. We still have a lot to go through though—proofreading, galleys proofs, and ARC proofs. It's a lot of editing. :)
DeleteTrying to find little snippets of relaxation in a busy day!
ReplyDeleteGood luck, Jodi.
DeleteI love that title: The Monster Within! Congrats!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sheri. It took me forever to come up with that title, but I love it.
DeleteMy next book buy is definitely Touch of Death. I can't wait for it. Glad you had a good weekend. Ours was just relaxing. Nothing special.
ReplyDeleteRelaxing is good. I hope you enjoy Touch of Death. :)
DeleteYour Easter sounds like fun. I miss the egg hunts, dying the eggs, and all the good stuff. The children do grow up.
ReplyDeleteYou've certainly been busy, Kelly. So many books to look forward to. Congratulations on all of them. Have a nice week.
Thanks, Beverly!
DeleteYes, my daughter made the day very fun.
You've been busy! Happy Easter.
ReplyDeleteWe've been in the country for the holiday, and it's quite peaceful and beautiful here. I have to go back to the city later to teach tomorrow. Wish I had another week up here!
Sounds like you had a relaxing break. :)
DeleteYou have so much good news going on ~ congrats!
ReplyDeleteMy girls had some Easter fun too, although we were at a condo, so our egg hunting was more limited that usual. They were just glad the Bunny found us at our new location. :)
Thanks, Jessie! I'm glad the E.B. found you and your family. :)
DeleteToday is the first day of camp nanowrimo. I'm excited to get started on a new project using scrivener for the first time. :)
ReplyDeleteOoh, have fun. I love using Scrivener for planning new books.
DeleteCongrats on all the wonderful literary things on your calendar. I am happy that few people in my circles play April Fools' jokes, and proud of myself for getting a few long-postponed chores done over the last weekend.
ReplyDeleteI got caught up on some chores this morning. Not fun, but necessary.
DeleteYour calendar is awesome! Congrats. Glad you had a fun Easter weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Auden.
DeleteHappy Easter! I colored eggs, too, but I did the wax lettering first. I texted all over my eggs, LOL, STFU, LMAO, WTF, and a big ole smiley =)
ReplyDeleteMy kids are grown, so I think I was acting out. Anyway, there will be egg salad sandwiches at my house for the rest of the week!
LOL, Diane. I didn't have the crayon in my kit. I was sad about that.
DeleteOh how I miss the decorating and hiding of eggs. Do you think it would be weird for me at 56 to do it for myself? Or maybe my dogs would enjoy it! LOL
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what your book Monsters Within is all about. It sure has me intrigued!
Nah, you're never too old for an egg hunt. :)
DeleteWow! Sounds like you have tons going on. All the best!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Misha!

DeleteI have never read a YA novel except Twilight. But your book cover makes me want to take a peek at the story, to see if it is going to be as beautiful as the cover. Maybe I will and if I do will drop back here again. All the best.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rubina!
DeleteAwesome. Once it's up on Kindle I'll pre-order.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Medeia!
