- BEA I'll be signing copies of Stalked by Death at the SHP booth (#2567) on Friday, May 31 from 9:30-10:30am. If you're there, come see me!
- Field Day I helped out with field day at my daughter's school last Friday. She had a blast, and I loved getting to see her with all her friends.
- My dying Kindle I had one good week where my Kindle worked great and now the big black bar is showing up across my screen again. :(
- Editing I'm editing again all week. :)
- Runes Trailer and Giveaway! I'm participating in the trailer reveal for Ednah Walter's YA paranormal, Runes.
That's it for me. What's on your mind today?
You're always so busy! The field trip sounds awesome, and I bet you'll ave a fabulous time at BEA. I think it's time for you to buy a new e-reader though. Good luck! :-)
ReplyDeleteSo excited for BEA!! Yes, I think my Kindle is on its last leg. :(
DeleteLook forward to BEA photos! My kindle died a few months ago, I had to get a replacement, but they didn't offer it to me free as my kindle was already more than a year old - so I got a newer model for £40, I actually like my old keyboard one, but this one good too. Not much on my mind today, except that I seem to be behind on a ton of stuff :-/
ReplyDeleteI hope you get caught up this week.
DeleteI just ordered new baby chicks this am!
ReplyDeleteAwesome that you will be at BEA signing (so will I) and I'm totally coming buy to snag a signed copy or your book! I'm biting my nails til my kids get out of school. Planning a beach trip and of course squeezing in time to write and read.
ReplyDeleteYay! I can't wait to meet you in person. :)
DeleteSo cool you'll be at BEA! Have a blast.
ReplyDeleteI've got a big week. I need to make some serious progress on MB's sequel and finalize a picture book. :)
Thanks, Sheri.
DeleteGood luck with the sequel and the PB.
Squee for BEA!
ReplyDeleteGreat trailer. Thanks for sharing.
You're welcome.
DeleteYeah for BEA. Wish I could be there. Sounds like you need to get a new Kindle before the trip. I don't know how I ever traveled without one. :)
ReplyDeleteFunny, but I never take my Kindle on trips with me. I always bring a paperback. I think I'm afraid of damaging it. Of course, it's already damaged, so...
DeleteI'm so jealous of everyone heading to BEA--it's going to be awesome! Hope you have fun! And best of luck with your kindle.
ReplyDeleteLast year I stalked photos from BEA and frowned about not being there.
DeleteMy son got married this past weekend, so we're stoked.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your signing May 31st!
Yay! Congrats to your son!
DeleteThe field trip sounds like fun, and of course, signing YOUR BOOKS is a cool thing to do. :) How sad about your Kindle, though. What a bummer! :(
ReplyDeleteI think it's pretty cool, too. ;)
DeleteGlad to hear the field trip went well!
ReplyDeleteUgh, that darn Kindle - it better start behaving again.
And I cannot wait to read your posts and tweets from BEA :-)
I'll tell my Kindle you said so. ;)
DeleteOmg I miss field day! Can we please do that as adults?
ReplyDeleteI'd love that!
DeleteI remember field day from elementary school! So much fun :D
ReplyDeleteYes! :)
DeleteI can't wait to read Stalked by death. Happy book signing! :)
ReplyDeleteIt releases exactly 2 months from today! :)
DeleteHave fun at BEA.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Beth!
DeleteHi, not sure I'm going to BEA but if I do I'll visit you!
ReplyDeleteYay! I hope you do.
DeleteOHH, I'll be at BEA on Saturday....
ReplyDeleteYay! I'll be leaving mid-day Saturday. Maybe I'll see you there!
DeleteGlad you had fun at field day.
ReplyDeleteAwesome that you will be at BEA signing books! I wish I could attend! Wishing you the best of luck and I can't wait to hear about it. :)
Tuesday comment: I recall going on trips with Hannah (now 29) It's great to see them interact with their buddies - mixture of pride and a tinge of sadness that you are no longer their entire world.Shame you don't come over to the UK!! Get your publisher to arrange a signing tour here. I'm sure we could fix the weather!!
ReplyDeleteI will get there one day, Carol!
DeleteMay your signing at the end of May be a blast, and may your Kindle recover.(Or you get a new sister for him by then...) Don't forget to post pictures from the book signing for those of us who live too far away to come.
ReplyDeleteI'll be sure to post pictures, Mirka. :)
DeleteSorry to hear about the demise of your Kindle! I hope that doesn't happen to mine!
ReplyDeleteI hope yours holds strong for you.
DeleteI'm sorry about your Kindle. I hope you upgrade soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll have a blast at BEA.
I just want to make sure the Kindle Fire can do text to speech before I upgrade.
DeleteCan they repair your Kindle?
ReplyDeleteOnce upon a time I had fun at school activities with my boys. Then they grew up.
On my mind? Catch up. Hahaha!
Have a good week.
They probably could repair my Kindle, but it's old so I'm probably just going to get a new one.
DeleteAnd obviously CPR won't work on a kindle...
ReplyDeleteI might consider trying it though. ;)
