- The Monster Within Cover I got to see the cover of my upcoming YA paranormal The Monster Within coming out in April 2014 through Spencer Hill Press, and it's gorgeous! Lisa Amowitz is the cover designer, and she's amazing. I can't wait to share it with you.
- Stalked by Death ARC Giveaway I'm giving away two copies of Stalked by Death. One is on Brandi Kosiner's blog where a bunch of authors and bloggers got together to giveaway a Kindle Fire and copies of our books. Enter here. The second copy is for a Goodreads giveaway that you can enter here.
- Writing I'm in between client edits so I'm drafting a new book. Woo hoo! I tend to go through months where I have a ton of edits and can't write anything new, so getting to draft again feels really good.
- My New Niece My niece, Violet, was born one week ago, and I got to see her last Thursday. She's gorgeous and looks so much like my daughter did at that age.
- Free Monthly Newsletter My free monthly newsletter goes out at 5pm EST today. If you aren't signed up and would like to receive one, you can sign up here.
That's it for me. What's on your mind today?
Congrats on everything you're getting accomplished and for your new little niece. I love the name Violet! I'm stuck on an mc name and may use that! :-)
ReplyDeleteIt is a great name, isn't it?

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the new addition to your family, Kelly!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to settle back down from so much traveling and hosting of friends from out of town. It's been a blast, but now I'm back at work again. AGAIN! lol
Thanks, Diane.
DeleteLooks like you've got a bit of breathing space at the moment.
ReplyDeleteYes, I did at least. Although my characters are demanding I write their story. ;)
DeleteMore books. You have been busy. Looking forward to seeing the cover too. Violet is a lovely name and I know you're proud of the new baby.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week.
I love the name. It suits her.
DeleteCongratulations on your new niece, Violet. That's my mother-in-laws name so I collect antique hand-painted things with violets on it. Not so easy to find, but beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAw! My mom did a cross stitch picture of violets for Violet's room. :)
DeleteYou always manage to get so much done, it amazes me! Have fun drafting and can't wait to see your cover!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Meradeth. I'm so excited to share it with everyone. :)

ReplyDeleteI love when I get more time to write. :)
DeleteKelly,
ReplyDeleteglad to hear you are writing again. I thought of you, bc I just decided that I am going to try to rewrite my WIP-which I haven't touched for a year- as a fiction novel. (Don't I always tell you I'd rather be writing fiction?) I am so excited. WIsh me luck!
Good luck, Jodi! Have fun with it.
DeleteCongratulations on everything! You always make me feel like an underacheiver.
ReplyDeleteYou're definitely not an underachiever, Beth.
Deletegrats on your niece! My daughter is now nine months and my son just turned 4. I miss the newborns!
ReplyDeleteWow, those nine months happened quickly!
DeleteHey, I just signed up for your newsletter. And I do love the name Violet.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Catherine!
DeleteSeeing a new cover is always exciting! It will be fun to see what the designer came up with. And new nieces are even more exciting. Congrats! And good luck with drafting your new book!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Janeal.
DeleteBusy as always ;) Can't wait to see your new cover. Good luck with your draft.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Auden.
DeleteDon't you just love babies? Congrats on the new family addition. My Monday has been hectic. Back home after a long weekend with my daughter and grandma. Back to the grind. I found out this morning one of my stories was recently accepted. YAY!
ReplyDeleteYay! Which one was it, Brenda?
DeleteYes, I'm loving my new little niece. She reminds me so much of my daughter, and she's a cuddler. I can't wait to see her again.
Oh, I want to see the cover, too! Guess I'll wait...*grumpy face* =) Congrats on the newest addition to your family. My sister n law is expecting, and we're all hoping for a girl- it'd be the first one!
ReplyDeleteMy sister said she'd only have a girl, and she did. LOL We are a predominantly female family. Very few boys.
DeleteI'll keep you posted on when the cover reveal will be. :)
Congrats, Aunt Kelly...hope you are setting aside copies of your books for her to read when she gets older!
ReplyDeleteI've already signed them to her. ;)
DeleteViolet is a sweet name - not many of those around these days. Exciting times for you with new titles.
ReplyDeleteThis week I'm preparing for a weekend away with old friends and pushing on with my novel.
Good luck with your novel, Fi!
