Happy Monday! Monday Mishmash is a weekly meme dedicated to sharing what's on your mind. Feel free to grab the button and post your own Mishmash.
Here's what's on my mind today:
- The Darkness Within Blog Tour Spencer Hill Press and I are looking for people to take part in the blog tour for The Darkness Within. ARCs are available for review too. Interested? Sign up here.
- Holidays/Spring Break I hope everyone enjoyed Easter and/or Passover, whichever you celebrate in your family. We are also on spring break here, if you can call it that since most of it was taken back to make up snow days. ;)
- YASH The YA Scavenger Hunt is officially over as of yesterday. As always, it was a lot of fun. :) Congrats to all the winners!
- Free Monthly Newsletter My free monthly newsletter goes out today. If you aren't signed up to receive it, but would like to stay up-to-date on my books and writing tips, sign up here.
- Perfect For You This Friday, I'll be sharing more info about my YA contemporary romance Perfect For You. Long story short, I took my rights back from the publisher and I'm relaunching the book this month. It's now available as an ebook AND as a paperback. Yay! And it got a new cover. Check it out. If you're interested in reading the book, you can find it on Amazon or B&N.
That's it for me. What's on your mind today?
ReplyDeleteExciting developments on your front, I'm happy for you.
I've been getting busier since Sprng started (Snow or not, we're free of below zero weather here in Detroit, MI) I finished the last of videos I did in collaboration with another YouTube channel I started last year.
Hope you and your daughter check it out, it came out really well.
I also got my first byline on a site I LOVE and respect.
Thanks great, Taurean! Congrats!
DeleteHope you're had a good holiday. I'm using Camp Nanowrimo to motivate me to revise my novel. The target is 1,000 words a day for the month of April. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with those revisions. :)
DeleteEveryone is on Spring Break now. I had mine 2 weeks ago. NYU has their Spring Breaks way too early. At least it's finally warm here.
ReplyDeleteToday's high of 71 feels amazing! :)
DeleteI believe I signed up for your Darkness Within blog tour already but let me know if I didn't. I have A to Z brain right now (which means it's just mush!).
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on getting your rights back on your novel. You have a busy year going!
Thanks, Stephanie. I'm excited to see this book out in the world the way it was intended to be. :)
DeleteI love that cover, and I'm excited about your book! good for you for doing what is right by your book!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Beth. It's not always easy doing what you believe is right for your book, but I'm happy I did. :)
DeleteJust got back from visiting my sister in NC. Good to be back!! Unfortunately, my Easter Sunday was spent making a 10 hour drive home.
ReplyDeleteOh, long car ride. I hope you had fun in NC though. I love visiting NC.
DeleteI had a nice Easter! I hope your daughter has a nice break- however long it is. Schools around me have their breaks all different weeks. Many of them are going to school over vacation to make up for days lost to snow.
ReplyDelete~Jess
My daughter didn't really have a spring break scheduled. It was more of a long weekend and they took one of those days back.
DeleteGlad you enjoyed Easter. :)
Taking days back for snow days? From holidays? Perish the thought!
ReplyDeletelol Yup, it happens.
DeleteI wonder how you got the rights back for PERFECT for YOU? This could be a post all its own. You're a powerhouse, Kelly.
ReplyDeleteThere are a few ways this can be done, but in my case the publisher broke the contract, so that gave me the right to ask for my rights back.
DeleteI signed up for your blog tour.
ReplyDeleteI like your new cover for Perfect For You.
Thank you and thank you. :)
