Monday Mishmash 12/21/15

Happy Monday! Monday Mishmash is a weekly meme dedicated to sharing what's on your mind. Feel free to grab the button and post your own Mishmash.

Here's what's on my mind today:

1.  Into the Fire Trilogy Release Date Changes  Limitless Publishing has decided to space my releases out just a bit. All three books in the trilogy will still release in spring 2016. Here's the new schedule:
INTO THE FIRE (book 1) February 16, 2016
OUT OF THE ASHES (book 2) March 22, 2016
UP IN FLAMES (book 3) April 12, 2016
    2.  Countdown to Christmas Has Begun!  I'm hosting 5 days of giveaways on Instagram. If you don't follow me there already, go here to follow and enter each day to win prizes. Good luck!
      3.  Drafting  I went back to working on my adult thriller. I hit the 50K mark last week. I'm hoping to draft more this week. I've had to put this book aside three times now to work on edits. Maybe I'll finally finish it. I am expecting more edits though. ;)

      4.  A Very Merry Jamberry Christmas  My Facebook Jamberry party was very successful and I got great rewards. Check these out!

          5.  Christmas  We are hosting Christmas again this year. I'm excited to see my daughter open her gifts. She always has such a smile on her face on Christmas morning. If you celebrate, I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas.

That's it for me. What's on your mind today?

            1. Thanks, Lidy. I got in 11,000 words today and it felt amazing. Hopefully for another day like that tomorrow. Happy holidays!

          2. Busy time! I've been wearing the Incoco Christmas nails...check them out if you ever want a change. You don't go through a person to get those, though. The Jamberry butterfly pattern was the coolest nail art I've ever seen and they did great on my toes! I couldn't keep them from pulling away from my nail on my fingers, but my fingers are very active!

            1. I use the plastic bag method to apply my Jamberry wraps. It helps them stop pulling away. I do love all the patterns. I have to try them on my toes though.

          3. You'll have a busy spring. That's great about the draft. I'm drafting as well. Congrats on the Jamberry rewards.

          4. Been super busy with holiday shopping. This year I will keep with tradition and bake cookies and decorate a gingerbread house with my kids who are grown, but we still enjoy doing it. haha

            1. I don't bake cookies. That's one tradition I'm glad I didn't start. I don't know how people do it.

          9. Looking forward to your adult novel.

I'm on Christmas countdown so I'm not getting a lot of writing done. I've given in to the fact that the third agent I submitted to is probably a 'no' too - it states on their website that they only respond if it's a 'yes' - so I'll be submitting my manuscript to another set of agents in January.

            Have a wonderful Christmas.

          10. So many blogs take a break just about now, but I can count on your Monday Mishmash to start the week right. I wonder how you navigated from younger readers to writing an adult thriller.

            1. Lol My mind works in mysterious ways, Mirka. I don't know why it jumps age groups so much, but it does. ;)
