Monday Mishmash 4/25/16

Here's what's on my mind today:
  1. Newsletter Subscriber Giveaway! I'll be giving away 3 signed paperbacks of one of my books to newsletter subscribers. Giveaway begins today. Not a subscriber? Fix that here.
  2. Editing No surprise that I'm editing for clients this week.
  3. Field Day I'll be helping out with field day at my daughter's school later this week. It's always fun to see her with her friends in a setting like this.
  4. Always Learning Something New I'm the type of person who likes to learn as much as possible about the publishing industry. Recently, I learned how to make full wrap book covers. No, I will not be doing this as a side job. I just wanted to learn.
  5. Looking For Reviewers I'm looking for some readers who would like to read Into the Fire and post an honest review on Amazon. If that's you, please email me at khashway(at)hotmail(dot)com.

    Have fun on the fieldtrip! I'm looking forward to helping out w/those, once the kidlet is in school. And that's cool on the full wrap, no skill is ever wasted!

      It's field day at the school where they run around and play games. Lots of fun.

    Enjoy the field trip! Not having kids, the only time I'm aware of field trips is when I'm in a museum and a bunch of kids are running about with a couple of frazzled teachers.

    Have fun with the field trip. I remember how cool it was to join my kids on school trips. Now it's fun to visit them where they live and have them show me around. LOL.

    I remember field day from when I was in school. Always so fun, even though I didn't ever win anything. It just felt nice to leave the classroom and do something different...plus, it always meant the school year was almost over!

      They don't do prizes anymore. I loved competing for those ribbons when I was a kid. Remember those?

    Field days are always fun. I like to learn new things. You never know when those skills can come in handy. Sometimes I find myself doing things that I haven't done in a while, and I'm glad it was something I learned.

      Full wrap's the paperback cover which is both the front cover and back. Front only is ebook covers. Hope that helps.
