Monday Mishmash 1/23/17

Happy Monday! Monday Mishmash is a weekly meme dedicated to sharing what's on your mind. Feel free to grab the button and post your own Mishmash.

Here's what's on my mind today:
  1. Lies We Tell  I'm getting really excited for my April release, Lies We Tell. Just a reminder or in case you missed it: If you'd like to help me get ready for this release, you can sign up for the cover reveal, release week blitz, and/or to receive an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review. Huge thank you to all who have already signed up! :)
  2. Pocono Writers Conference  This past Saturday, I attended the Pocono Writers Conference. I had a great time and even won a book with a title very similar to my upcoming release:
  3. Editing  As always, I'm editing for a client this week.
  4. Scholastic Book Fair  I'll be helping out with the Scholastic Book Fair at my daughter's school this week. You know that means I'll be buying books, books, and more books!
  5. Revision  At the writers conference, Megan Hart gave me some great advice for my psychic mystery, so I'll be working on revisions soon.
That's it for me. What's on your mind today?

  1. Great to get advice from fellow writers.

This week is all about rehearsing for and performing in a pantomime with my daughter so writing is on hold. Having said that, I am helping my son write a short story.

    Have a great week.

  9. Congrats on the win at the retreat. Seems like it was meant to be with the similar title. :) Love writing conferences.

  10. Wow, you won a book with a similar title to your own. Is it coincidence or a date of good things to come?
Made some headway with WIP though I had to cut and rearrange some scenes in ch8.
Good luck with your edits, revisions and book fair!
