Monday Mishmash 6/25/18

Happy Monday! Monday Mishmash is a weekly meme dedicated to sharing what's on your mind. Feel free to grab the button and post your own Mishmash.

Here's what's on my mind today:
  1. Cover Design  I have a cover being designed this week, which is always exciting. I also had one designed last week for a boxed set I'll have out this fall.
  2. Drafting  After finishing my last client edit, I have time to dig back into my current WIP, which is book three in my psychic mystery series. I really love this series.
  3. Giveaway  I'm taking part in a giveaway for a Kindle Fire. You can enter here.
  4. Basketball camp  My daughter has basketball camp this week, so that means I'll have extended work hours for a few days.
  5. Networked Blogs  Last week I mentioned Networked Blogs shut down. I'm wondering if this will slowly kill blogging. I've noticed a big difference already.
That's it for me. What's on your mind today?

  1. I'm deciding if I want to begin writing what would be a sequel to my diary novel, even though I still don't have a title for the first one.

  2. There's supposedly a workaround for comment notification, but I find it's easiest to just check posts and click back to the person's blog.

  3. I think blogging has been on the wane for sometime, and many active bloggers have either not posted in a year or more or have stopped interacting. This could be because the financial rewards of blogging is limited to certain kinds of bloggs (think make-up tips and such) and they take more time than tweeting or instagramming. (Did I just make up a word?)

Since it's the way I found you (and some other valuable persons) I'm stickin' to it. I also like the depth and breath possible in blog posts.

  4. Seeing a new cover is so much fun.
On my mind is revising my WIP. I keep finding things that need changing. But that's what it's all about, right? Hopefully, one day I'll get it the way it should be. I really love the characters. Have a super week.

  5. Very nice ideas. Feel free to grab the button and your own mishmash. I am not sure how I feel about this yet. I like getting extra work done, but that fewer hours with my son. We usually try to get to one game a season.

I love comments, but not spam. All spam will be deleted.
