The local media says the shortage is due to the vaccine mandate and the drivers who refuse to be vaccinated. We certainly see this with nurses. This varies from state to state, so I have no idea if this applies to yours. I have full faith in your incredible abilities to get what you set to do done, or to accept that once in a while you won't and still be ahead of the rest of us in productivity.
