Fae
Not all fae'ri tales come with a happy ending.
Ella thought taking care of the ego-bloated Mamood god would be a sure way to bring peace to the galaxy and satisfy her taste for revenge.
But she was wrong.
Despite the fact their god is gone, the Mamood refuse to abandon their attack on the planet Soltak and Ella's own so-called friends start to turn against her. And with Soltak dying--its oceans drying up and its plants withering in the ground--Ella and Cailen suspect there's a new enemy at work. As more people die and more water is leached from the planet, they both prepare for something straight from a nightmare.
The fae are coming.

I haven't read the first one- but the series does sound interesting. I like the way the title looks sparkly.

Read it, Jess. It's great.
DeleteThe cover is absolutely gorgeous. I like the description too.
ReplyDeleteI agree. The cover is really gorgeous, and this sounds like a great read.
DeleteIntriguing .. I am a fantasy reader from way back. I'd pick this one up. I don't read as many YA novels as you do, and they have to be truly compelling for me ( you know I write women's fiction and other, so I read a lot of that kind of stuff), but I will read anything as long as it's a good story.
ReplyDeleteLOL. I'm the opposite. I read a ton of YA and only read the occasional adult novel. It has to be really amazing to pull me out of the YA genre, but I do find some gems that make the break worth it.
DeleteVic is quickly establishing a reputation as a well-respected and highly demanded cover designer. She did Emily right!! :)
ReplyDeleteI completely agree!
