- Vitamins and Death Cover Reveal Check out the cover of Medeia Sharif's upcoming YA, Vitamins and Death. This book will release December 10th through Prizm Books.
Deidra Battle wants nothing more than to be invisible. After her mother, a public school teacher, engages in an embarrassing teacher-student affair at Lincoln High, they relocate to a different neighborhood and school. Being her mother’s briefcase, Deidra joins her mother at her new workplace, Hodge High.Since her mother has reverted to her maiden name and changed her appearance, Deidra thinks no one will figure out they’re the Battles from recent news and that they’re safe. Neither of them is. Hodge brings a fresh set of bullies who discover details about the scandal that changed her life.
- Meradeth Houston's An Absence of Light I'm happy to share the cover of Meradeth's upcoming release.
Leah’s always seen the shadow creatures. She thought she was immune to their evil—until now.
She’s walked into a massacre, stolen a BMW, and is running from the law for a crime she didn’t commit. Nineteen-year-old Leah’s life just went from mildly abnormal to totally crazy at lightning speed. But no one will believe that the shadow creatures are framing her for the murder, because she’s the only one that can see them. At least that’s what she thought.
When Leah stumbled across a group who share her ability, she discovers they have something she doesn’t: a way to fight back. When the group offers to teach her how to kill the shadow creatures, Leah jumps at the chance. But something is brewing with the creatures. They’re tracking down the hunters like there’s no tomorrow. Leah suspects that maybe there won’t be, and it’s up to her to make sure tomorrow comes. Because she’ll do anything to stop the shadows, including risking her life—and the life of the one she loves—to keep the world from being lost to darkness forever.

That's it for me. What's on your mind today?
Sounds like another great week for you. I'm still working on the plan for my second novel. At first, it was rather brain-wracking but I've started to enjoy it and a sudden inspiration this morning has informed me how to make it even better and, in essence, the entire plot. Just need to tie up the loose, waving ends.
ReplyDeleteYay! Good luck with your second novel.
DeleteI love the book tour banner and I'll think about joining the hop.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing my cover.
Thanks, Medeia!
DeleteYou are very welcome. Can't wait to read it.
Congratulations to Medeia on her new release! This blog hop sounds fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kelly.
DeleteMedeia's book sounds interesting. Will be on the lookout for its release!
ReplyDeleteYou have some great blog hops going on, especially for this time of year. I will be looking forward to reading some of them.
Good luck at your book signing, Kelly! And what a fantastic contest you have for Into the Fire. So many great things this week!
Thanks, Gina. :)
DeleteI love spooky stories and these sound like some great ones. Have fun at the signing. Congrats, Medeia.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Beverly. I love spooky stories too.
DeleteThanks so much for sharing my cover! And best of luck on everything, Kelly! You're always busy with so much awesomeness :)
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Meradeth. :)
DeleteI love the idea for the Monster Madness blog hop. Just registered.
ReplyDeleteYay! Happy to have you joining us, Vanessa!
DeleteLetting the review contest run until Halloween is a great idea. More reviews the better. For me today, it's spending the day in my granddaughter's class, and then spending the night writing a synopsis for my Upper MG adventure novel. (Writing a synopsis is not my thing either. They're more intimidating than writing a book!)
ReplyDeleteYay! Have a great time with your granddaughter's class!
DeleteYou've got a lot of awesomeness going on. Well played. Have fun!
ReplyDeletelol Thanks, Auden.
DeleteGreat cover for Meradeth!
ReplyDeleteToday my first collaboration went live! Hope you'll check it out when you get the chance.
ReplyDeleteVery cool, Taurean!
DeleteYay, I'm glad you extended it! I've been reading so slowly lately, it stinks. There's just never enough time in a day it seems. Or a week. :)
ReplyDeleteI hear you. Sometimes I really struggle to get time to read.
DeleteWow, so many things going on! I wish this month could last three months so we could do 1,000 spooky blog hops.
ReplyDeleteI have a lot of events this month. It's going to be crazy but fun. :)
DeleteYou have a lot going on, Kelly!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Meradeth and Medeia!
Vitamins and Death looks and sounds good! :)
Yeah, it's a busy month for me.
DeleteMarching into another triumphant week, Kelly. Congratulations many times over!
