Monday Mishmash 12/18/17

Happy Monday! Monday Mishmash is a weekly meme dedicated to sharing what's on your mind. Feel free to grab the button and post your own Mishmash.

Here's what's on my mind today:
  1. Editing  I'm editing for a client this week. All of my clients have been submitting their books early, which I love because I can get an early jump on them since I usually allow more time than I need for each edit.
  2. Proofreading  I'm doing a final proofread of the paperback proof for Since I Found You, the final book in the Love Chronicles companion series. It's currently available for preorder.
  3. Christmas  It's one week away! The presents are all wrapped and ready.
  4. Reflecting on 2017  This was a crazy year for me as far as publishing goes. I released nine books. I think. It was so crazy I lost count. 2018 will have quite a few releases as well, but after February, I'll be handling releases a little differently, so stay tuned for more info on that.
  5. Newsletter  Those of you who subscribe to my newsletter may have noticed it came from a different email address. I started using the address tied to my website. It's still me though, so don't be afraid to open it. If you aren't signed up and would like to receive my newsletters, you can do so here.
That's it for me. What's on your mind today?

  1. Happy Monday! Can you believe there's only one Monday left before it's 2018?

Wow 2017 was a crazy year. A crazy successful year. 9 books published? Congrats.

I have all my Christmas gifts. Just to have find time after my sons go to bed to get them from their hiding place and wrap them up. Finally, I'm getting books for Christmas. I know what they are but I'm going to act surprised anyway. Only thing I haven't figured out is where my husband hid them.

  3. So you don't subscribe to the school of thought of starting Christmas shopping on the 24th of December at two in the afternoon?

    1. My husband used to. Now he doesn't have to shop for anyone. I shop for everyone but me, and my daughter shops for me. He has it too easy.

  4. Nine books (but who's counting)? I'm still a one novel plus 4-5 PBs a year... I'd hire you for ANY job, Kelly!

  5. Well you knocked those 9 release out of the park! I think I am up there with you. I have not even started wrapping presents. I have all of them though. As for 2018, I plan to release quite a bit too. But 2019 I will slow down (I just know it...oh, no I don't).

  6. 9 books! Wow! I released one this year and that felt like a lot. I am not sure how you do it. :) Sounds like you are very organized with your presents all wrapped too. Yeah! :
