Monday Mishmash 6/18/18

Happy Monday! Monday Mishmash is a weekly meme dedicated to sharing what's on your mind. Feel free to grab the button and post your own Mishmash.

Here's what's on my mind today:
  1. Summer hours  My daughter is officially home for the summer, so my summer hours are in effect.
  2. Doctor appointments  This is the week of checkups in my house. Ayla has basketball camp next week, so that means this week is the dentist appointment and yearly checkup at her doctor's office. I have my dentist appointment as well today.
  3. Editing  I'm editing for a client this week.
  4. Drafting  I'm slowly but surely adding to the third book in my psychic mystery series. This series is a lot of fun to write.
  5. Networked Blogs  With Networked Blogs gone, I have to remember to post links to my social media now. Also, I didn't get any notifications last week when people commented on my blog. That shouldn't be connected, but if I took forever to respond and visit your blog, that's why. Now I know to check in instead of waiting for the notifications.
That's it for me. What's on your mind today?

  1. It really is feeling like summer now. The last few days seems a little chilly, but this week looks to be hotter.

    1. We had some really hot days. Today will be mild, which is fine with me.

  2. Summer time and the living is easy. Unless you have children doing all the things they do during the summer. Such fun.
Good luck with your writing. It's exciting to write stories that are fun. I finally have a thought about the ending of my WIP. It came to me one day after a newspaper article I read. Love it when that happens. Have a great week.

    1. Right now, Ayla has track Thursday nights. Next week is basketball all week in addition to track on Thursday night. So it's not too bad.

Yay for figuring out your ending!

  3. I know several people who got notifications by email for comments mentioned about it being gone.

  4. Blogger stopped forwarding notifications of comments to blogs on May 25, and I think it is liked to GDPR enforcement. A blogger techie says they're "working on it," but now it's June 19 and it's still not fixed, so I expect to be checking into Blogger "comments" and "awaiting approval" for my blog if I am to see anyone's comments for the foreseeable future. Less digital connectivity is the result of compliance with the new EU enforcement.

    1. I didn't even think about it begin related to GDPR, but that makes sense.
