Monday Mishmash 4/29/19

Happy Monday! Monday Mishmash is a weekly meme dedicated to sharing what's on your mind. Feel free to grab the button and post your own Mishmash.

Here's what's on my mind today:

1. Editing  I'm editing for two clients this week.
2. Dark Destiny  I clicked publish on my last paranormal novel, Dark Destiny. It's up everywhere but Apple Books right now. I'm not sure why they're being so slow to put the book up over there.

3. Summer Snoops Unleashed is up on Amazon!  Not only did my boxed set go up for preorder on Amazon, but we got our #1 bestseller banner within 24 hours! I couldn't be happier since this is a charity set.

4. Piper Ashwell Psychic P.I. book 5 is with my editor  I passed off book five to my editor last Friday, and I'm way ahead of schedule. Yay!
5. Piper Christmas novella?  I'm toying with the idea of writing a Christmas novella for my Piper series. The problem is I don't really give a definitive time of year in any of these books--intentionally. I'd have to break that rule to do a Christmas novella, but I kind of really want to write one.

That's it for me. What's on your mind today?

Here's what's on my mind today:

1. Editing  Last week, I fell victim to a three-day headache that put me behind in client edits. I can't work on the computer when I have a migraine. So this week, I'm catching up on those edits.
2. Summer Snoops Unleashed Facebook Party  This Thursday is the FB party for my cozy mystery boxed set, Summer Snoops Unleashed. It's also the day we go up for preorder on Amazon. We have a lot of great prizes to be won, so you'll want to join us here from 12:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (I'll be hosting from 1:00-1:30.)

3. Dark Destiny  My last full-on paranormal title will be out very soon. I finished proofreading and the paperback proof looks gorgeous. Stay tuned for more info on that, but in case you haven't seen the cover yet, here it is.

4. Fiction and Felonies Paperback Giveaway  There's still time to enter to win a signed paperback ARC of Fiction and Felonies. Enter here.
5. Giveaway  April is almost over, which means you're running out of time to enter this awesome giveaway for a $350 Amazon gift card. Enter here.

Monday Mishmash 4/1/19

Happy Monday! Monday Mishmash is a weekly meme dedicated to sharing what's on your mind. Feel free to grab the button and post your own Mishmash.

Here's what's on my mind today:

1. Piper Ashwell Psychic P.I. book 6  This week, I'm hoping to finish the first draft of book six in the series. Drafting is going much slower than usual (only 2K-7.5K days) because my editing schedule is packed.
2. Editing  April is a busy editing month for me since I scheduled three full-length client edits in addition to the small edits I wind up getting as well.
3. Cover design  This week I'm working with Red Umbrella Graphic Designs to create the cover for book 4 in the Piper Ashwell series. I'm so excited because Ali always creates such amazing covers!
4. Taxes  I can't believe the first quarter is already over. That means it's time to pay local taxes. At least my 2018 taxes were taken care of last month.
5. A favor pretty please!  If you have an iPhone, I have a favor to ask. Pretty please consider preordering Summer Snoops Unleashed for $.99. All the preorder sales go to pet charities. We really want to raise as much money as possible to help these animals. And for $.99, you will get 14 original cozy mysteries. It's a win for everyone. You can order here.

Monday Mishmash 3/25/19

Happy Monday! Monday Mishmash is a weekly meme dedicated to sharing what's on your mind. Feel free to grab the button and post your own Mishmash.

Here's what's on my mind today:

1. Drafting  I finished an edit early, which means I have a few days before the next one comes in. I'm drafting book 6 in the Piper Ashwell Psychic P.I. during that time.
2. Multi-author giveaway  I'm part of a multi-author giveaway going on right now, and there are some really awesome prizes. See the image below. You can check it out and enter here.

3. Summer Snoops Unleashed  We've been fortunate enough to get a bestseller flag on Barnes and Noble several times, but we really want to raise as much money as possible for these pet rescues. Please consider buying a copy for $.99 and helping us help these pets. Grab a copy on Apple Books or Barnes and Noble here.

4. Manuscripts and Murder paperback giveaway  There's still time to enter to win a signed paperback of Manuscripts and Murder. Don't tell, but this is my favorite book in the Madison Kramer Mystery series. Enter below.
5. Dark Destiny off to my editor  I have one last straight-forward paranormal book to release, and I sent it off to my editor late last week.

That's it for me. What's on your mind today?

Here's what's on my mind today:

1. Editing  My editing schedule is crazy booked this year. I have no gaps in my schedule, and it actually overlaps in a few places since I tend to finish edits quicker than the allotted time. I'm finishing up an edit today.
2. Plotting/Drafting  Because my editing schedule is so full, I have to draft whenever I possibly can. I just finished drafting book 6 in the Piper Ashwell Psychic P.I. series last week, and I'll be starting book 7 probably later today because I will have some time this week before my next edit comes.
3. Blogger commenting issue  I recently discovered if I turn on my comment moderation, the captcha goes away. Yay! I hate captcha. Even though I had it set so it didn't go on, it still was. It was very annoying. So now I have to moderate every comment, but it's better than having that annoying captcha pop up.
4. Thank you!  Big thanks to everyone who grabbed the Madison Kramer Mystery books during release week last week. If you haven't grabbed them yet, you can find them all here.
5. Summer Snoops Unleashed is a bestseller on Barnes and Noble!  I woke up yesterday to find out the charity boxed set I'm in is a bestseller on B&N! How incredible is that? Thank you to everyone who has preordered. If you haven't yet, please consider helping us raise money for three great pet rescues.
